border-box;">本文在形态类型相关研究基础上，从城市空间发展理论的视角，提出“空间基因”概念。空间基因是独特的、相对稳定的空间组合模式，它既是城市空间与自然环境、历史文化长期互动契合与演化的产物，承载着不同地域特有的信息，形成城市特色的标识，又起着维护三者和谐关系的作用。通过空间基因识别提取、解析评价到传承导控的技术体系，可以避免采用统一的模式面对千差万别城市、不尊重历史和自然的设计弊端，强化规划设计的在地性，推动城市规划设计方法从空间形式创作到空间基因分析的方向性转变，为城市建设与自然保护、文化传承的共赢提供有效设计路径。文章还对“空间基因库计划”进行了展望。</p></section></section></section></section></section></section><section border-box;">近年来，“环境污染”“特色缺失”“文化传承堪忧”等已引起社会各界的普遍关注①。《人民日报》于2017年9月发文写道，“生态文明建设已成为全面建成小康社会的突出短板。经过30多年快速发展积累下来的环境问题进入高强度频发阶段……一些地方生态环境还在恶化。”[1]古建保护专家阮仪三教授针对城市历史保护问题也感叹道，“在全国近120个国家历史文化名城中，已经有将近20个没有历史文化街区，有将近一半历史文化街区不合格。”②</p><p border-box;">2015年12月中央城市工作会议中明确，“尊重城市发展规律，城市建设要以自然为美，把好山好水好风光融入城市，延续城市历史文脉，保护好前人留下的文化遗产，留住城市特有的地域环境、文化特色、建筑风格等‘基因’”。2016年《中共中央国务院关于进一步加强城市规划建设管理工作的若干意见》再次强调，要“认识、尊重、顺应城市发展规律，保护历史文化风貌，恢复城市自然生态”。2017年10月，习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中提出“绿水青山就是金山银山”“文化自信”等发展理念，其后又持续就此发表讲话把自然环境保护和历史文化传承提升到国家战略的新高度③。 </p><p rgb(139, 0, 0);box-sizing: border-box;">如何在城市空间上加以综合统筹，什么样的城市空间才能取得城市建设与自然保护、历史传承的共赢，则是城市规划学科必须回答的问题，也是新的国家空间规划体系需要回答的问题。因此，城市空间成为研究的主题。</span></strong></p></section></section></section><section Caniggia)继承穆拉托尼(S Muratori)的类型概念为所发展起来的建筑类型学奠定了基础，形成了穆拉托尼-卡尼吉亚学派(Muratori-Canniggia)，主要关注建筑和开放空间的类型分类，解释城市形态。继而罗伯特·克里尔(R Krier)、里昂·克里尔(L Krier)、罗西(A Rossi)等建筑师和建筑理论家在此基础上发展，提出了新理性主义方法[6]。</p><p border-box;">形态类型学结合了形态学和类型学，以城市形态学的分析性和概念性认知框架来理解形态的结构与特征，配合类型学中演进的观点来审视这些形态形成与变化的逻辑关系[5]。它横跨多个学科领域，将碎片化的形态逻辑拼合起来以便关注城市建设这种真实现象，力求形成以“形态类型单元”为基础的认知图解，进而在时间维度顺叙解释城市空间的历史演变过程。对于城市设计师和建筑师的实践而言，发现形态类型即可将其转化为设计语言，具有一定的实用价值。因此，不少学者均认为形态类型的研究和发现对于城市设计的科学性具有重要的理论意义[9]。</p><p style="text-indent: 0em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;"><br style="box-sizing: border-box;"  /></p><p style="text-indent: 0em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;">但同时它也面临不少质疑。<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(139, 0, 0);box-sizing: border-box;">第一，形态类型学所归纳的形态类型以城市物质形态为单一中心，是一种“空间是文化发展的物质沉淀”的思想。</span></strong>同时，它的研究传统又使它容易被划入物质形态决定论的范畴，从而受到艺术人士和文化人的质疑[6]。因此，它对空间的态度一直在空间决定论和空间映射论之间摇摆不定。<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(139, 0, 0);box-sizing: border-box;">第二，形态类型学是描述性、解释性或说明性的。</span></strong>它以认知城市形态为其历史任务，是以建筑为基本要素来探讨层级体系下的物质构成的类型变化[10]，其经验性视角存在的固有缺陷内在规定了其技术价值的上限[6]。映射到技术层面，在面对新的城市开发建设时，他们是“朝着过去迈进”而不是“向前看”的[11]。他们声称真理已被全部阐明，不可能再发现新的真理，于是只去把各种不同的历史形式机械地拼凑在一起[12]。正如罗伯特·克里尔所坚信的——我们所能想象的空间形态都已经被创造出来了[13]，城市空间的发展已经到了历史顶点，已经不需要也无法被创新[14]。这样一来，会使人们误以为城市的发展就是那些既有法则的简单拓展或生长，其价值被固定在历史文化名城保护、历史建筑遗产保护等层面，但<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(139, 0, 0);box-sizing: border-box;">面对城市开发时却显示出软弱无力感，面临着“忽视传统社会关系，使城市空间的外在风貌与内在价值产生冲突”等质疑</span></strong>[15]。</p><p style="text-indent: 0em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;"><br style="box-sizing: border-box;"  /></p><p style="text-indent: 0em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;">不少研究者已经注意到形态类型学的瑕疵，并尝试针对中国现实问题对形态学方法论进行重新审视和改造⑤。近年国际上也有了新的相关的动向，加强了空间与历史人文、空间与自然环境之间的关系研究。例如，哈佛大学、复旦大学等研究团队对CHGIS(中国历史地理信息系统)的建构⑥，力图基于数据库的建立来探索空间形态与人文活动的关系；萨拉特(S Salat)等[16]认识到运用城市形态学的原理进行城市设计可以提高城市运行的效率，降低能耗，增强可持续性，试图寻找空间与自然的协调发展途径。但是，上述结构性的缺憾难以通过这些局部的理论修补得到完善。</p><p style="text-indent: 0em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;">中西方城市空间与自然环境、历史文化的互动中，形成了各具特色的轴线基因，在区位、层次、体系、朝向、虚实、主次、功能等方面都存在差异(图2)。对西方而言，“大多数城市轴线采用的是多向放射延伸、以开放空间作为枢纽并联轴线两旁建筑的组织方式”[21]。受到“辨方正位”“择中立宫”“尊上”等礼制思想的影响，中国城市传统轴线所采用的是一种显著不同于西方传统轴线的空间布置方式。以明清北京为例，它将居于城市中央、正南北向的线型空间与大尺度的紫禁城建筑群结合，北收南放，层层递进。培根(E Bacon)在谈及华盛顿中轴线与北京中轴线的差异时写道，“如果一个人站在华盛顿纪念碑脚下，美国首都两条主要轴线的交叉点上，他只要绕基座移动，只不过几英尺，就能领悟纪念碑式的华盛顿的全部要素。在北京除非通过2英里通道的空间移动，否则就无法领悟它的设计”[22]。<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="color: rgb(139, 0, 0);box-sizing: border-box;">这些差异，来自于不同的自然环境、世界观、政治制度和文化思想，同时，其固化的空间组织方式也已经形成了各自文化的重要特征。这样，为了达成一定的城市文化目的，就可以选择采用相应的轴线基因进行相应的空间导控。</span></strong>例如，雄安新区需传承中华文化基因，体现华北平原的城市特点，就需要通过强调正交体系、序列组织等华北平原的轴线基因进行空间形态导控。课题组已将相关的成果应用于已批复的《河北雄安新区规划纲要》中。</p><p
